United Fresh announces 2015 post-show conference

The GLOBALG.A.P. TOUR is heading to Chicago on June 11. The tour, “The Sense and Nonsense of Farm Certification,” was organized by the United Fresh Produce Association and will act as a United Fresh 2015 post-show conference.

In anticipation of FDA publishing several audit regulations later this year, the GLOBALG.A.P. TOUR stop and United Fresh half-day conference will engage FDA, major retail and produce buyers, growers and audit organizations in a lively discussion on “The Sense and Nonsense of Farm Certification.” Attendees will discuss how it affects their organizations and if there is a smarter way moving forward.

The GLOBALG.A.P. TOUR takes place every two years and is part of GLOBALG.A.P.’s campaign to engage leading stakeholders around the globe, uniting them behind the common purpose of creating private sector incentives for agriculture producers worldwide to adopt sage and sustainable agricultural practices.
