Cherry Crop ‘Very Vulnerable’ to Weather

Local Michigan cherry growers crossed their fingers in hopes the first frost of the season spares their crop.

The National Weather Service on Sunday issued an overnight frost and freeze warning for much of northern Michigan. Temperatures in some inland areas are expected to dip in the low- to mid-20s early today.
