Nursery adds sales representative

Dave Wilson Nursery has added Dale McHaley to its Reedley, Calif., sales office, as the company’s stone fruit specialist and sales representative.

McHaley has been a valuable asset to the fruit industry for more than 19 years. In his new role, he will be representing the nursery’s entire line of Zaiger Genetics material, as well as Tree Time selections from Bradford Farms. His product lines will include peaches, nectarines, plums, apricots and inter-specific hybrids.

McHaley is eager to meet growers in his district and looks forward to providing help in variety and rootstock selection, as well as consultation for orchard cultural practices. His knowledge of fresh-fruit production, combined with his comprehensive understanding of the industry, will make him a valuable resource for orchard operations.

In his free time, McHaley enjoys fishing and spending time with his wife, Carrie, and three children.

Dave Wilson Nursery was established in 1938, and sells to commercial farmers and retail and wholesale nurseries. With more than 1,100 varieties grown yearly, the nursery is the largest grower of fruit and nut trees in the United States.
