Washington Small Fruit Conference and Lynden Ag Show goes virtual
The popular event, typically attracting over 500 attendees, is held every December in Lynden, Washington. The conference focuses on everything related to blueberry, red raspberry, and strawberry production and features speakers from around North America.
“Along with other conferences we have had to pivot to a virtual platform,” said WSU Extension’s Chris Benedict, one of the event’s co-organizers. “We all feel attendees, vendors, and sponsors will all still have a high-qualit
y experience from the comfort of their own homes.”
Attendees will be able to engage with speakers, vendors, and sponsors via the virtual event platform. Live meetings can be held with exhibitors and sponsors, chats with representatives and other attendees can happen in real time, and vendors can do short presentations in virtual exhibit booths.
Additionally, up to 10 Washington State pesticide recertification credits can be earned. Applications for credits in Oregon, British Columbia, and CCA credits are underway as well as.
Pre-registration is required. More information and registration available at: https://www.wasmallfruit.com/.
