Feb 21, 2019Black Star Farms names new managing owner
More than just wine is making a mark at Black Star Farms.
John Schoelles, having joined the company in late 2017, has moved into the position of Controller, managing finances and information technology.
Sherri Campbell Fenton, having joined the family business in 2016 to handle communications and public affairs, is expanding her role as managing owner. Fenton is daughter of original investor, Kerm Campbell, whose family now has complete ownership of Black Star Farms. Fenton now oversees everything hospitality; the Inn, culinary services, events and communications.
Black Star Farms has two locations in the heart of northwest Michigan Wine Country, including a tasting room on Old Mission Peninsula and the flagship property near Suttons Bay.
