Farm market pricing survey

Great American Media Services, which publishes Fruit Growers News and Vegetable Growers News, is seeking farm market operator input.

Properly pricing farm market produce and goods can be tricky. In the 2025 Farm Market Pricing Survey, farm market operators are surveyed on factors that shape how leading marketers charge for fruits, vegetables and other food.

Last year’s survey received responses from farm markets in 39 states as well as Canada, India and St. Lucia, with most participants from Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York, Wisconsin, Indiana, Illinois, California and Washington.

Farm market operator input is welcomed. Operators will be surveyed about pricing strategies, labor and inflation impacts and how well baked good products perform. Participants are also surveyed on the top fruit and vegetable varieties that farm markets market with premium prices.

Farm market operators can complete the 2025 Farm Market Pricing Survey through March 10, 2025.
