Krull hired as Nufarm’s North America lead for portfolio solutions

Crop protection industry veteran Mike Krull has been hired by Nufarm as its North America lead for portfolio solutions.

His job responsibilities include leadership and oversight of all North American portfolio innovations and partnerships, according to a press release from Nufarm. He will guide the team in developing new solutions and products for Nufarm to bring to market.

Krull brings 25 years of agriculture experience to the role, most recently with FMC where he led business development and commercial integration for the U.S. and Canada.

“Mike has extensive experience finding strategic opportunities to align with crop protection company objectives, particularly in new and current technology avenues,” said. Brendan Deck, regional general manager for Nufarm in North America. “His strong business development background will be a major asset to the portfolio solutions group.”

Krull also brings prior industry leadership experience from managing Cheminova’s North American business development and the herbicide and insecticide portfolios, as well as leading the vegetation management market at BASF. He holds a Bachelor of Science in agriculture business management from the University of Minnesota.

“We are thrilled to have someone so knowledgeable and integrated in the agricultural industry joining us,” Deck said. “This year will bring many opportunities, and we look forward to having Mike on board.”
