Locus Agricultural Solutions was recently certified by the non-profit B Lab to meet “the highest standards of social and environmental performance, public transparency and legal accountability.”
The rigorous assessment reviewed how Locus AG’s operations and business model impact its workers, community, environment and customers.
“We are incredibly proud to be a Certified B Corp, and based on our research, we believe we are the only ag input company across North America, Europe and Asia to have this certification,” said Andy Lefkowitz, the company’s chairman and an Entrepreneur of the Year regional finalist.
Locus AG’s products are commercialized under Rhizolizer for agricultural use. Third-party tests and verified field trials across the country have found that Locus AG’s cold-chain, customized soil amendments or probiotics boost plant productivity, according to a press release from the company.
