Rick Davidson joins Vive Crop Protection as Midwest regional sales manager

Rick Davidson of Marshall, Illinois, has joined Toronto, Canada-based Vive Crop Protection as Midwest regional sales manager. Davidson is working with the distribution and retail networks to position Vive’s unique products to growers across the region.

He has over 20 years of sales experience selling crop protection, fertilizer, seed, and farm equipment. Most recently, Davidson was the Midwest Key Accounts Specialist with Shore Ag, with previous experience at Arysta Life Sciences, Cargill Hybrids, AgriGold and at a Case IH dealership.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Plant & Soil Science at Southern Illinois University

Dan Bihlmeyer, VP Sales & Marketing  at Vive Crop Protection says, “Rick brings years of sales experience and relationships to Vive. His knowledge of key Midwest markets will help get the word out about all five Vive products, but especially new Averland FC – our new fertilizer-compatible corn nematode control product that contains the Allosperse ‘delivery system in a jug’.”

Vive’s patented Allosperse Delivery System allows chemicals that were previously incompatible to now be mixed with liquid fertilizer, other chemistry or hard water and applied at the right time for maximum benefit to the crop.
