Webinar on H-2A shared by National Council of Ag Employers

The National Council of Agricultural Employers’ (NCAE) inaugural educational webinar “H-2A 101” was “a terrific success. In fact, it was so popular that the training sold out.”

The webinar was hosted by Tom Bortnyk, vice president and general counsel for MAS Labor. Bortnyk reviewed the obligations for users of the H-2A temporary agricultural worker program, described the application process, and discussed the best practices for employers. Attendees had the opportunity to ask Bortnyk questions about the program at the end of his presentation.

“We received extremely positive feedback,” said Nigel Bocanegra, Manager of Association Services. “Mr. Bortnyk presented information in a user-friendly, intuitive way and attendees noted that the webinar greatly exceeded their expectations.”

Due to high demand and critical response, NCAE decided to share “H-2A 101” with a broader audience. “The feedback we received was so positive, we wanted to give access to the webinar for those who couldn’t participate in the sold out event,” said Bocanegra.
