Kugel is a 4th generation grower of Kugel Farms, LLC, where he manages daily operations in the apple and peach orchards as well as the grape vineyards. After graduating from Michigan State University he returned to the farm and is in the process of switching over older apple blocks to more efficient high density orchards getting ready for robotic picking.
