Aug 20, 2020ALDI recalls peaches from Wawona Packing due to possible salmonella
As a precautionary measure, ALDI is voluntarily recalling assorted peaches received from its supplier, Wawona Packing Co., due to possible salmonella contamination.
According to a company release shared by FDA, ALDI has removed the affected peaches from select ALDI stores in Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont, Virginia, Wisconsin and West Virginia. The items were also available for purchase through the company’s partnership with Instacart, a grocery delivery service.

“ALDI takes the safety and integrity of the products it sells seriously. If customers have product affected by this voluntary recall, they should discard it immediately or return it to their local store for a full refund,” the statement read.
