Certis USA adds sales representative in Mountain West region

Certis USA has added Jason Downs as the newest member of the biopesticide leader’s team of experienced sales representatives. Downs will service customers as the sales manager, Mountain West region that includes the states of Idaho, eastern Oregon, Washington, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota and South Dakota.

In this region, Downs will focus on connecting growers and retailers to solutions within the company’s broad portfolio for use on potatoes, onions, sugar beets and specialty crops.

“Jason’s extensive agricultural background and his first-hand knowledge of crop inputs for disease and pest control will prove to be a huge asset to our new and existing customers across the region,” said Jeremy Briscoe, Certis USA Western Region Sales Director.

In previous positions with Horizon Ag Products and Keithly-Williams Seeds, Downs was instrumental in sales growth and provided support to both end-use customers and retailers. Prior to that, he served as a Farm Manager in California where he managed pesticide programs and implemented safety protocols.
