Graceland Fruit fires company founder

One of Benzie County’s largest employers fired its president — the company’s founder — and another top official.
Donald Nugent, former president and CEO of Frankfort-based Graceland Fruit, said the company’s board of directors fired him and his son Steve Nugent, former Graceland chief operating officer. The firings occurred at a Sunday meeting, he said.
