Helm Agro US gets California OK for Helmstar Plus SC fungicide

Tampa, Florida- based HELM Agro US, Inc. has received California Department of Pesticide Regulations (CDPR) approval for its Helmstar Plus SC fungicide for use on selected crops in that state.

According to the company, Helmstar Plus SC provides California growers with a best in class formulation of the industry’s most complimentary systemic active ingredients.

With preventive and curative activity from two powerful modes of action, Helmstar Plus SC quickly knocks down diseases and provides a residual barrier to inhibit newly forming diseases. Capable of controlling the most devastating crop diseases, Helmstar Plus SC is proven to protect and promote better yields.

In California, Helmstar Plus SC is labelled for use on almonds, grapes, corn, barley, wheat, grasses grown for seed and other crops. In a suspension concentrate formulation, Helmstar Plus SC contain two pounds of tebuconazole and one pound of azoxystrobin per gallon.

As a premix, Helmstar Plus SC hosts Group 3 and Group 11 fungicides and is tank mix compatible with a variety of crop protection products. The product is packaged in 2 X 2.5-gallon cases and 270-gallon totes.
