Produce packaging pioneer Craig Fox has died at age 62.
Fox, executive vice president at Fox Packaging, died on Feb. 1 after an illness. He served the produce industry for more than four decades in his family’s business, founded in 1962.
After graduating from Texas Christian University, he joined his father, Kenneth Fox, and brother, L. Keith Fox, as a sales executive in 1982.
Focused on customer relationships, Fox brought a personal approach to partnerships, according to a news release from the McAllen Texas-based company.
“Craig’s individual boldness won both the trust and friendship of brand owners; his charisma made him a beloved industry figure whose charm was directly reflected in the growth of the organization,” Fox Packaging said in a statement.
Craig Fox is survived by his wife, Nyssa; daughter, Ashlee; two sons, Jacob and Dylan, and four grandchildren. His sons continue his legacy at the family company.
