Jan. 6 set for Washington State University Orchard Systems Tour

On Thursday, Jan. 6, from 1-4 p.m. Washington State University Extension will host an Orchard Systems Tour in Benton City/Grandview area.

This tour will offer a review of modern orchard architectures with discussion of pruning, training, cultivars, rootstocks, crop load management and labor efficiency, along with other topics.

First site is just south of 47506 N. Highland Road in Benton City and the second site is an Allan Brothers orchard at 154002 Snipes Road, Grandview.
