Marvin Sundquist was a wonderful man who loved God, family, his community, the Valley and nature.

Marvin was a lifelong learner and was always ready to share his knowledge with others.

On August 29, 2015 at Cottage in the Meadow, Marvin’s heart, well used living life to it’s fullest, working, serving and playing, completed it’s work.

Marvin was born to Ralph and Elaine Sundquist at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Yakima on April 9, 1926.

Marvin is survived by a loving family of Yakima—his wife, Pat, of 67 years; his brother Ralph(Bernita) of Bloomfield, CT, his sister, Jan of Palo Alto, CA; three sons and three daughters in law, Steve (Cyndee), Curtis (Mary) and Craig (Caroline); six grandchildren Stephanie, Joshua(Leah), Andrew(Kate), Alicia(Bobby), Kristofer of Los Angeles and Erika(Dusty); and nine great grandchildren Maisie, Elora, Eli, Mia, Claire, Olyvia, Paige, Korben and Boston; and five nephews.

In memory of Marvin, eat an apple and hug a hiker.
