Orcal Inc. purchases Willamette Ag property in Harrisburg, Oregon

Orcal Inc., Junction City, Oregon, has completed the purchase of the Willamette Ag property located at 480 Territorial St. in Harrisburg, Oregon. The newly acquired property boarders Orcal’s existing manufacturing site in Harrisburg Oregon and provides approximately 12,000 square feet of additional warehouse space.

The property also includes access to both railroad services, and open ground for further expansion. This purchase follows Orcal’s recent increase in personnel to meet the continuing demands of their customers.

“As we continue to grow in both our crop protection markets and toll manufacturing, this was a much-needed acquisition,’ said Tom Peterson, vice president of operations at Orcal. “The increased real estate, additional office space for our rapidly expanding staff and added warehouse space will allow Orcal to better service our customers’ needs and provide increased production areas for new opportunities.”

The property has an operating fertilizer plant with a new fertilizer blending system and bagging line that will be leased to a local chemical and fertilizer distribution company.

For information about the ORCAL product line contact Tim Wasko at 541-228-0792.

For information on custom formulation or toll manufacturing and packaging, contact Tom Peterson at 541-952-9044.

Orcal is owned by George Baker and Steve Horn and is located in the heart of the Willamette Valley but serves farmers throughout the United States. Orcal was founded in 1997 as an agricultural, consumer, and toll manufacturing company that specializes in crop protection for both the agricultural and consumer sectors.
