The 444th annual American Agri-Women (AAW) convention will be held in Tigard, Oregon, from November 6-10 at the Embassy Suites on Washington Square. It is the annual gathering of the largest affiliate organization of women in agriculture and agri-business in the country. Convention attendees will hear from both local and nationally known speakers on topics that include Oregon innovations, science communication, legislative and leadership topics and more. Keynote speakers on Saturday, Nov. 9 will include science communicator Kevin Folta and New York Times best-selling author Jane Kirkpatrick.

Attendees will tour Oregon’s bounty featuring Oregon State University’s North Willamette Research and Extension Center and the Northwest Hazelnut Co., followed by an on-farm dinner at Scenic Valley Farms. Spouses will be treated to equipment tours and unique “from-the-pickup” tours of the Willamette Valley.
