Public hearings to discuss pesticide use
The California Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) will hold public hearings to give the public advance notice about pesticide use.

The objective of these hearings is to provide the public with advance notice about pesticide use.
The hearings are scheduled for:
- Friday, July 12, in Stanislaus County, tentatively in Turlock
- Monday, July 15, held virtually on Zoom
- Tuesday, July 23, in Kern County, tentatively in Wasco
DPR seeks public participation and feedback on the proposed regulation.
“Our goal is to protect human health and the environment by ensuring transparency and safety in pesticide use,” a DPR email on the event stated.
