The USDA is offering support to construct and renovate agricultural research facilities.

The USDA’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture will lead the webinar, which starts a 2 p.m. Eastern on June 8.

USDA logo US Department of AgricultureThe Research Facilities Act Program is designed to assist in the construction, alteration, acquisition, modernization, renovation or remodeling of an agricultural research facility to enhance the institution’s long-term impact on food and agricultural research. The webinar will focus on the program’s request for applications and general guidelines for 2023.

Awards may be used to fund the construction of buildings or sites for agricultural research facilities or other structures that store experimental samples or specimens, as well as the purchase of real estate or equipment.
