Vive Crop Protection ranked in fastest-growing company list

Vive Crop Protection is in the top half of companies in North America in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500. The Deloitte Technology Fast 500 is a ranking of the 500 fastest-growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences, fintech and energy tech companies in North America, now in its 27th year. Vive Crop Protection grew 722% during this period.

“We’re honored to be on this list, which is dominated by Silicon Valley software companies,” Vive Crop Protection’s CEO Darren Anderson said in a news release. “Vive is completely focused on using technology in agriculture to create real results for growers, so we use technology in a very different way than most other companies.”

“Vive uses a delivery technology similar to those built into mRNA vaccines to make more targeted pesticides,” Anderson said. “These products improve grower yields and efficiency, increasing their profitability and sustainability. We also use this technology to solve issues with biological or natural crop protection solutions that can reduce chemical use by 50%.”

According to the press release, Technology Fast 500 awardees are selected based on percentage fiscal year revenue growth from 2017 to 2020. Overall, the 2021 Technology Fast 500 companies achieved revenue growth ranging from 212% to 87,037% over the three-year time frame, with a median growth rate of 521%.

Vive was recently awarded a Clean Technology award in Deloitte’s Canada Technology Fast 50 program.
