“Notes From The Farm” is a collection of more than 15 years of columns written for Fruit Growers News and Vegetable Growers News by Illinois grower and marketer Jerry Mills. The columns take readers inside the operations of Mills Apple Farm, offering readers wisdom, humor and practical advice. Jerry shares details of tools that worked well (and those that didn’t) and insights into the challenges and joys of a life devoted to American agriculture. He also shares the highs and lows of his personal life, including his ongoing battle with Parkinson’s disease.
