Harleston Towles

Job Title

Organic Farmer

Towles is owner/operator of Sandy Point Produce, and farms 15 beautiful acres on Edisto Island, SC. He raises organic fruits and vegetables for distribution through his hybrid-CSA, The Twenty Bag, in Charleston, SC. This “non-committal” style CSA was the first of its kind in the region and allows a growing email subscription list to shop weekly without having to pay up front for a whole season. Towles serves on the Charleston County Board for Farm Bureau as well as their statewide Diversified Ag Committee.
