2015 Michigan Agritourism directory expanded, full color

The Michigan Agritourism Association released its 2015 directory featuring agritourism destinations across the state. This year’s directory is upgraded to full color to showcase the fresh produce and engaging activities offered in every region of Michigan.

This 8th edition of the annual directory includes over 260 agritourism businesses, including u-pick farms, roadside stands, farm markets, pumpkin patches, petting zoos, farm stays, wineries, agricultural museums and more.

“If you’re looking for fun, family-friendly activities and the freshest local produce, this directory will give you options from every corner of Michigan,” said Janice Benson, executive director of the Michigan Agritourism Association. “It is a favorite resource for fun on Michigan farms.” Platinum Sponsor Farm Bureau Insurance has sponsored the directory since 2008.

The Michigan Apple Committee is the Lead Print Sponsor for the directory.

“The Michigan Apple Committee supports this directory as the ideal way for consumers to find farm markets, cider mills and u-pick orchards and have the important experience of fall in Michigan. We are glad to help people taste the flavor of harvest and enjoy all Michigan has to offer,” said Diane Smith, executive director of the Michigan Apple Committee.

The 2015 Michigan Agritourism Directory is available at Farm Bureau Insurance offices across the state, Michigan Welcome Centers and at member locations. It is also available online.
