2020 NW Cherry Research Review set for Nov. 12

The Washington Tree Fruit Research Commission is inviting those interested to attend this year’s NW Cherry Research Review.

The session is Nov. 12 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Confluence Technology Center,  285 Technology Center Way, Wenatchee, WA 98801.

This event will feature continuing research project reports on Western X, and Little Cherry disease, fungicide resistance, precision pollination systems and an update on the Washington State University-Prosser sweet cherry breeding program.

Final reports on control strategies for spotted wing drosophila, powdery mildew management, and the results of a Mid-Columbia survey for cherry viruses and vectors will also be presented. New proposals will be introduced for funding consideration in the afternoon.
