Oct 26, 2021Apple Variety Field Day Showcase to be held Oct. 27
Penn State Extension will hold a free Variety Field Day Showcase in which attendees can sample a variety of apples and learn about the backgrounds of each one.
The field day will be held Wednesday, Oct. 27 from 2-4:30 p.m.
It will be at the Penn State Fruit Research and Extension Center, 290 University Drive, Biglerville, Pennsylvania 17307

Attendees who attend the Variety Showcase Field Day can sample a variety of apples and learn insight into their backgrounds from Penn State’s Robert Crassweller – who has grown many of these apples himself at Rock Springs. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about and sample varieties that may not be commonly available.
