Asfertglobal sees possibilities in the U.S. biologicals market

A multi-national Portuguese company  that develops and markets biofertilizers, biostimulants and biocontrol products is focusing on the U.S. and other markets as it expands sales.

Asfertglobal sees “enormous possibilities” in the U.S., according to a news release from the company, where it markets products through a distribution agreement with Sym-Agro. Asfertglobal products are in use in more than 30 countries.

In the U.S., the products are applied on berries, grapes, almonds, citrus, cherries, apples, potatoes, tomatoes, nuts and lettuce.  The company’s products in the U.S. include Eckosil, Shield, Cuperdim, Kiplant VS04, Colure, Mycoshell Tabs, Mycoshell Dripper, Kitogard and Enermax.

The company attributed a 35% increase in sales in 2022 to a higher demand in biofertilizers and a 50% increase in sales of Kiplant Allgrip and Kiplant iNmass products, as well as the biocontrol solutions Kiplant Essence, Microil and Kiplant VS-04.

Asfertglobal’s goal is to lead the nutrition sector without any environmental impact as well as bioprotection, seeking to be on the cutting edge of development and innovation to not only guarantee crop yields, but also the conservation of natural resources.
