Central Washington state blueberry pruning workshop set for Nov. 18

A central Washington state blueberry pruning workshop will be held Nov. 18, from 8 a.m.-11:30 a.m. at the Washington State University Irrigated Agriculture Research and Extension Center, 24106 N. Bunn Road, Prosser, Washington 99350.

This free event will entail a 1.5-hour presentation delivered by Bernadine Strik, Oregon State University professor of horticulture, on the rationale and fundamentals of highbush blueberry pruning in central Washington.

The presentation will be followed by a short in-field demonstration in cooperating grower fields.
