EPA expands fruit, orchard label for Entrapment insecticide
Entrapment is now approved across all EPA crop groups and includes a broader list of insect pests. Learn more about the product.
Entrapment insecticide, developed by Attune Agriculture, has received EPA approval to include all EPA crop groups, according to a PR Newswire release.
The company says the expanded label gives fruit and orchard crop growers new options for managing difficult pests and insects such as spotted wing drosophila in soft-skinned fruits and spotted lanternfly in vineyards and orchards.
Entrapment’s physical mode of action traps and immobilizes pests on plant surfaces, allowing applications with no pre-harvest interval and minimal impact on beneficial insects and pollinators. Growers can use it alone or in rotation with other chemistries to help manage resistance.
