Fresno State Vineyard Mechanization & Sensing Workshop April 25

Wine and raisin grape growers and managers won’t want to miss the Fresno State Vineyard Mechanization & Sensing Workshop at Fresno State on Saturday, April 25.

The Department of Viticulture and Enology has a great line-up of presenters who will bring the latest information on new varieties, mechanization and quality issues for large and high- value producers, selective harvesting methods including on-the-go sorting technology, the implications, pricing and affordability of remote sensing technology in vineyards, and ways to manage color in warm climates using mechanization and irrigation, and more.

Practical indoor and vineyard equipment presentations by faculty, industry guests, and graduate student researcher are planned.
