Fruit Crop Guesstimate to be June 22

The 50th Annual Fruit Crop Guesstimate, sponsored by the Michigan Frozen Food Packers Association, will be held at 2 p.m. June 22 in the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Grand Rapids, Mich.

The Guesstimate provides a forum for growers, wholesalers and retailers to review expectations for the tart cherry, apple, peach and blueberry crops in Michigan and across the nation. Grapes and other commodities will be discussed as well.

A reception will follow the Guesstimate from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

Registration is $65, with proceeds to go to the Michigan Frozen Food Packers Association. Scholarships will be awarded at this year’s Guesstimate.
