The International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA) has unveiled its lineup of keynote speakers for the 2024 Global Produce and Floral Show, promising to provide attendees with exclusive insights into the industry’s future, political trends, entrepreneurship and women’s leadership.

Keynote speakers
Cathy Burns
Keynote sessions, a hallmark of the convention, will kick off on Oct. 17 with “The State of the Industry” by Cathy Burns, CEO at IFPA. Burns will discuss the future of technology, innovation, and consumer trends, offering a unique perspective on interconnected issues that will help businesses stand out.

Marc Randolph
Marc Randolph, co-founder and first CEO of Netflix, will follow with an afternoon keynote titled “That Will Never Work: The Birth of Netflix and the Amazing Life of an Idea.” Randolph’s address will highlight the value of innovation, persistence, and a novel corporate culture.

Rodney McMullen
On Oct. 18, attendees can look forward to “Key Conversations: Insights on Challenges, Opportunities, and Change Ahead.” Rodney McMullen, CEO of The Kroger Co., and A.B. Stoddard, columnist for The Bulwark, will explore retail dynamics and political impacts on the industry.

Reshma Saujani
The event will conclude on Oct. 19 with the Women’s Fresh Perspectives Breakfast, featuring Reshma Saujani, founder of Girls Who Code. Saujani will discuss “The Future of Women and Work,” addressing myths about having it all and steps for creating lasting change.
