Indiana Extension holding workshops

Fruit Tree, Grape, and Small Fruit Growers Workshop, Saturday, March 3. Purdue Meigs Farm. The Purdue Fruit Team: Bruce Bordelon, Peter Hirst, Rick Foster and Janna Beckerman will be on hand to demonstrate proper methods of tree fruit, grape and small fruit pruning and management. Grape Growing 101 Workshop, Saturday, March 24, 9:30 am-1:00 pm. Country Heritage Winery and Vineyard, 0185 County Road 68, LaOtto, Ind.Bruce Bordelon, grape specialist at Purdue University, Bruce England, owner of Big Run Vineyard, and Jeremy Lutter, owner of Country Heritage Winery will cover the basics of grape growing, economics, pruning, etc. $15 registration fee.
