Jason Wolcott joins Fall Creek as commercial director

Jason Wolcott has joined Fall Creek Farm & Nursery as its commercial director, responsible for the company’s commercial strategy and execution, including planning and fulfillment of blueberry plants, customer service and technical support, and the development and administration of blueberry variety licensing platforms. He is based in Lowell, Oregon, and reports to President and Chief Operating Officer Oscar Verges.

Wolcott has more than 20 years of leadership experience in sales, marketing, operations, and finance, including more than 16 years in the food products industry.  Most recently, he was vice president of global accounts and international sales at Cavendish Farms of Massachusetts, a leading supplier of frozen potato and appetizer products sold in more than 50 countries. Wolcott was responsible for leading the strategic planning, sales and pricing strategies for the national account division and international division representing more than $500 million in sales. 

Previously, he held positions of increasing responsibility in operations, marketing and key account sales for ConAgra Foods Lamb Weston, culminating in the role of global manager of key accounts for the leading supplier of frozen potato, sweet potato, appetizer and vegetable products to restaurants and retailers around the world. In this role, Wolcott led a national account team in the U.S. as well as local teams in each region of the world to execute global strategies at the local level.

A native English speaker who is also fluent in Spanish, Wolcott earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Tiffin University in Tiffin, Ohio. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology from Washington State University in Pullman, Wash., where he also played varsity football and ran track.
