Michigan frozen packers group has new executive director

The Michigan Frozen Food Packers Association, a nonprofit scholarship and award organization dedicated to recognizing current and future industry leadership, has selected Steve Kluting to serve as its executive director.

Kluting will serve at the direction of the MFFPA board/membership and work to develop and implement strategies for MFFPA to grow the membership and expand services or value offered to members among other duties. Bi-annual lunch and learn events, seminars, or webinars will be facilitated by Kluting to bring relevant industry topics to light to its membership.

Kluting brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to his new role as executive director. His resume includes more than 13 years as a member of a large, full service law firm specializing in the field of food safety, food laws/regulations, crisis preparation and management, mergers & acquisitions, and risk management.
