Michigan State University to host online peach field day
This event will feature video highlights of 2020 stone fruit research trials and presentations from MSU researchers and Extension specialists, followed by time for audience Q&A.
Topics and presenters include:
- Disease resistance, cold hardiness and fruit characteristics of new nectarine and novel peach varieties
- Presenter: Bill Shane, senior tree fruit specialist, MSU Extension
- High-density peach/nectarine training systems and rootstocks
- Presenter: Greg Lang, professor, MSU Department of Horticulture
- Disease resistance, cold hardiness and fruit characteristics of new yellow melting flesh peach varieties
- Presenter: Bill Shane, senior tree fruit specialist, MSU Extension
