Penn State grape, wine team seeks input from wine producers

Penn State University researchers and Extension educators are developing an online module that will provide users with information on statewide cultivar-specific trends in grape production, wine production, and sales in Pennsylvania.

To create this module, we ask those who qualify for the study to participate in a 20 to 30-minute online survey. The survey includes cultivar-specific questions regarding grape production, wine production, and sales.

To participate in this study, eligible producers can fill out the recruitment form found at the link below. Participants must be aged 21 and older, growing wine grapes in Pennsylvania for commercial purposes, or making wine commercially using Pennsylvania grown grapes for at least one year. If you qualify for this study, you will receive a link to the complete study survey within one to two weeks.

Only one survey response per vineyard/winery enterprise, please. If you have already taken this survey earlier this year, thank you! Those who complete the final study survey will receive a $50 Amazon gift card as thanks for their participation. Questions may be directed to Cain Hickey at [email protected] or 814-440-5534.

Growers can determine if they qualify by clicking here.
