- Salinas: May 31
- Visalia: June 7
- Sacramento: June 20
“As regulations, competition and consumer interest in more information on the healthy food they eat continue to increase, packaging for fresh and perishable fruits, vegetables and nuts becomes even more critical,” said Terry Feinberg, principal at Moxxy. “There are so many issues and factors to consider we decided to pool our expertise so growers and producers could understand the interconnection of packaging law, design and production to get their questions answered at one convenient time and place.”
Legal topics will include brand and intellectual property protection and staying compliant with USDA, FDA and Canadian packaging laws and regulations. Design presentations will include choosing the right materials and designing unique packaging that protects and showcases contents while standing out on the shelf or rack for increased sales.
