Spread of Apple Moth Leads to Quarantine

The California Department of Food and Agriculture has set up quarantine areas covering at least 182 square miles in Northern California in an effort to control the spread of the state’s newest invasive species, a voracious pest native to Australia known as the light brown apple moth.
