USDA data users meeting scheduled

The USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service is set to host the biannual Data Users’ Meeting on Oct. 15-16, which provides an online forum for stakeholders to discuss recent and upcoming changes in agricultural statistical programs.

The Farm Service Agency and the U.S. Census Bureau, have collaborated with several federal agencies for this event which aims to share updates and gather feedback from participants on programs that impact the agricultural sector.

“The meeting provides an open forum for questions and feedback, which is vital for refining our statistical programs,” Lance Honig, chair of the Agricultural Statistics Board, said in a news release. “It ensures we continue to provide timely and accurate statistics for U.S. agriculture.”

The first day will focus on updates from various agencies, while the second day will feature an open forum and breakout sessions.

The Zoom meeting is free and open to the public, but registration is required. A detailed agenda and registration information are available on the NASS website. Links to the Zoom meeting will be sent to registered participants.
