Toro launches clog-resistant drip tape

Toro is redefining clog resistance with their latest advancement in precision irrigation, Toro Aqua-Traxx Azul drip tape. This  new product from Toro’s agricultural business gives growers the same performance they have come to expect from Aqua-Traxx, but now features a innovative flow path design to more effectively resist clogging than ever before.

“The key to reduce drip tape clogging is to protect the flow path labyrinth from debris,” Sky Anderson, product manager for Toro’s Ag Business, said in a news release.  “This ensures a consistent and uniform flow of water, nutrients, and other inputs – allowing growers to put the right amount of water and inputs right where they need them. The new Toro Aqua-Traxx Azul drip tape offers a patent-pending filter inlet design and optimized flow passages that not only guard the flow path labyrinth from debris, but also pass through more debris to maximize clog resistance and product performance.”

Advantages of Toro Aqua-Traxx Azul include:

  • Enhanced clog-resistance
  • Low filtration requirement – just 120 mesh
  • Greater filtration area with patent-pending Multi-Stage filter inlets
  • Optimized flow passages to further resist plugging
  • Available in 0.13, 0.20 and 0.27 gph emitter flow rates
  • Same superior quality and performance as the original Aqua-Traxx drip tape

“Toro Ag has built its legacy by understanding the needs of growers and developing quality drip irrigation products that provide superior performance to help growers succeed,” said Ralf San Jose, director of marketing for Toro Ag Americas.  “This commitment to innovation is reflected in our many exceptional drip irrigation products, including Aqua-Traxx and FlowControl, the grower preferred drip tape options in the Americas.  We are confident that our new Aqua-Traxx Azul drip tape will completely change the game for farmers throughout the Americas.  Thanks to its innovative flow path design, Azul delivers superior clog resistance with every irrigation.”
