WSU seeks input on phenology-based management of pears

Washington State University researchers are asking for input from pear growers and others in the industry for an annual survey on pear management practices.

The purpose of this survey is to gain a better understanding of how widespread the pear psylla phenology model is used and outcomes of phenology-based management. Phenology refers to the timing of cyclical or seasonal biological events such as fruit flowering.

The survey is sent out every year to document changes in the use of phenology-based management models.

For questions, email survey administrator Molly Sayles at [email protected].

A participant will be selected at random to receive a $50 Ace Hardware gift card.
