Raspberry, blackberry conference returns to in-person event

The North American Raspberry & Blackberry Association (NARBA) will be gathering in person for their annual meeting and conference in 2023 after two years of virtual events.

The conference, Jan. 22-24, will be in Tampa, Florida, its first time in the Sunshine State.

The conference kicks off with a half-day Fundamentals of Caneberry Production Workshop, with the main sessions scheduled the next two days. The conference will feature more than 50 speakers and exhibitors from around the world, including growers and experts in the berry crops.

  • Caneberry breeding and varieties
  • Pest and disease management
  • New technology and industry updates
  • Production research
  • New grower resources
  • Marketing trends

Attendees can sign up for a Jan. 24 farm tour, which will include field and nursery visits of the emerging raspberry and blackberry industry in Florida. The tour includes a stop at the University of Florida Gulf Coast Research Center to learn about advances in berry research.
