AgroFresh introduces new product for U.S. apple, blueberry, cherry and pear growers

AgroFresh Solutions, a post-harvest produce technology company, has launched Harvista Mix, a new product for apple, blueberry, cherry and pear growers in the U.S.

The latest addition to the Harvista 1.3 SC line offers growers a convenient application method, allowing use with standard sprayers instead of specialized equipment.

Harvista is known for its ability to control ethylene responses, providing greater flexibility for harvest timing while optimizing fruit size, color and firmness. The product’s near-harvest action can be applied up to the day of harvest, expanding marketable yield.

“Harvista Mix is just the latest example of how we’re empowering the business of fresh at every step,” said Rodrigo Cifuentes, North America regional commercial director at AgroFresh. “Growers can now experience everything Harvista has to offer without the need for special application equipment.”

Introduced in 2014, Harvista helps manage fruit ripening by inhibiting ethylene production, increasing marketable yields and improving fruit quality. The product can also be integrated with AgroFresh’s FreshCloud digital platform for harvest optimization and the SmartFresh quality system for maintaining freshness post-harvest.
