Heeren’s equipment assets to be auctioned

The auction sale is set to sell more than 300 pieces of equipment in the company’s apple receiving, washing, grading, packing and packaging assets. The auction will be exclusively online with bidding opening Jan. 31 and closing Feb. 7.
The equipment includes a modern high-speed washing, grading and
flume delivery system with robotic bin handling/dumping and retrieval with a MAF Roda Agrobotic 6-lane optical sorter. A 28-lane grading discharge and 28-flume stainless steel isolation and delivery system with automated bin filling selection system are included.
A Cedis-MAF automated 12-station fruit bagging line and tray packing line with Accu-Label ORB-it G-2 lane PLU ticker applicator are also featured. A tray dispenser, casing, Maf-Roda auto box fillers, Maf-Roda PNW quick bag packers, checkweighers, case sealers, conveyance and auto palletizing are included. SWF bliss formers, new Genie Z-45/25J articulating manlift, forklifts, scissor lifts, metalworking maintenance, spare parts, air compressors, pallet racking and plant support are also included, according to a news release.
Heeren’s cold storage and food processing plant in Comstock Park, Michigan, is also available for purchase or lease through Colliers International. More information on the building can be found here.
