MSU Extension offers weekly fruit pest, disease updates for growers
Join the weekly Zoom meetings to get the latest field-driven intelligence and connect with regional growers and specialists.
Hosted at MSU Extension’s Southwest Michigan Research and Extension Center (SWMREC), the in-season updates begin March 24 and are held every Tuesday through June 23 from 5–6:30 p.m.
MSU says the sessions will provide a concise, field-focused overview of current growing conditions in Michigan orchards. Each week’s update integrates recent and forecasted weather patterns with pest and disease risk, along with reports on crop maturity, phenology and scouting observations from research and commercial orchard blocks.
