North American Blueberry Council to host March 27 industry resources webinar

The North American Blueberry Council will provide resources and address questions related to the current labor challenges and the broader impact COVID-19 is having on the blueberry industry during a Friday, March 27 webinar.

The online event will be held at 10 a.m. PDT/1p.m. EDT.
Craig Regelbrugge, senior vice president at AmericanHort and national co-chair of the Agriculture Coalition for Immigration Reform, will provide an update related to the current status of the H-2A program and provide answers to participants’ questions.

Ann Grottveit, attorney for the North American Blueberry Council (NABC) the U.S. Highbush Bluebery Council (USHBC), will join the call to provide some legal perspective, resources and guidelines for employers in light of current circumstances.

She’ll also answer some of the questions NABC has received from members.
NABC President Kasey Cronquist will facilitate the call and provide a brief overview of the effort underway by NABC and USHBC to serve the industry during the pandemic.
