Precise Manufacturing loans hedger to MSU research center

Precise Manufacturing of Casnovia, Michigan, recently loaned a one-sided Bear Back hedger to Michigan State University’s (MSU) Clarksville Research Center, to be used for research and demonstration purposes, said Phil Schwallier, an MSU Extension educator.
The two-year loan is part of the Michigan Tree Fruit Commission’s “allied partner”program, where companies donate equipment and other products to MSU research stations. Such industry partnerships are vital to the commission’s activities, said Phil Korson, executive director of the Cherry Marketing Institute.
